I know I will be giving away my age, but having grown up in an era where groups like the Everly Brothers were about, I cannot forget their delightful harmonious voices!

I actually went to one of their concerts as an adult (well, to tell you my age would REALLY give it away), and still have the photos I took at this wonderful concert in Sydney.

[b]ABOUT THE EVERLY BROTHERS**
The group consisted of Don and Phil Everly with Don being the elder one by a few years.

Their parents were also singers and the boys toured with their parents around the South and Midwest of US and performed on the family radio show.

After signing their first record deal in 1957, the Everly Brothers created a series of hit songs for many years and they then split in 1973.

They did reunite in 1983, but at a concert, Phil smashed his guitar and stalked off stage, leaving Don to announce the duo's obvious breakup.

All future attempts to bring the group together failed, and so we "lost" what was one of the "better" groups of the 60's.

[b]ABOUT FRANKIE VALLI & THE FOUR SEASONS**
Frankie Valli is an American singer and actor, who is the "frontman" of The Four Seasons which started in 1960.

Frankie is known for his unusually powerful voice and he began his singing career around 1953 and is still singing!

He has had 29 Top 40 hits with The Four Seasons, one Top 40 hit under The Four Seasons alias The Wonder Who, and 9 Top 40 hits as a solo artist.

The Four Seasons became one of the biggest pop acts of the 1960s and used different musical styles as they continued to amass chart hits even during the British invasion.

They were also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and the group had well-known hits like:

  • Sherry
  • Walk Like a Man
  • Big Girls Don't Cry
  • Working My Way Back to You

  • Frankie Valli's single career produced such songs as the hits:

  • Can't Take My Eyes Off of You
  • Grease
