Buying a copy of the Entertainment Book can be your ticket to enjoying life in Adelaide, but if you've never owned one read on to find out why you probably should. The premiss behind the books is pretty clear, you buy a book and a portion goes to the place you bought it and the rest to the Entertainment Book company, but at around $60 a book some people can need a bit of convincing before they agree it is worth it.

The gold Fine and Contemporary Dining offers are where you will easily make up the money spent on the book. You'll find discounts to some of Adelaide's most rewarded restaurants including the Brasserie, Magill Estate, the Manse, and The Kitchen Door. Often you'll receive a free main meal when when another of equal or greater value is purchased, with average savings of around $35 or $45. Some restaurants will also offer a 25% saving off your entire meal, capped at a maximum value.

Not only is the price of the book redeemed after visiting two of these restaurants, but it also gives Adelaide diners the chance to enjoy this delicious food when they previously might have not been able. It can also give patrons the chance to explore other menu options like entrées and desserts, because they are no longer burdened by huge main meal costs. Each of these discounts is only rewarded once, and then they'll be marked off of your entertainment book card.

Enjoy 25% Off at the Kitchen Door

The book isn't all about fine dining, there are also vouchers for casual dining, entertainment, accommodation, and other fun activities all over Adelaide. These vouchers cover places like Montezumas, Manoli's Mezes, or the Store, as well as offering 2-for-1 vouchers for places like Macdonald's, KFC, Cold Rock, and more. You can use the vouchers to gain discounts at one of Adelaide's zoos or wildlife parks, or save money on a skydiving experience.

With the rise of coupon sites like Scoupon, Spreets, and Cudo, people are getting used to saving. While these deals are usually covered in restrictions and terms and conditions, savings from the Entertainment Book are offered all year round so you use them when you want to, not just during specific time frames. It is the essential companion for bargain hunters and fine diners alike.

Or Get a 2-For-1 to see Adelaide United

There is no comprehensive list of where to buy entertainment books, but next time you're visiting your favourite business or charity, ask if they sell them. You can, on the other hand, find a list of all of the savings available by heading to the website and clicking the link 'search the book'.

Take a look on offer and see whether the Entertainment Book would be right for you and your family.
