"Love, revenge and haute couture"

Rippon Lea House & Gardens hosts the Dressmaker Costume Exhibition when it moves from the country back to Melbourne in late April. "Love, revenge and haute couture" come together in this stunning collection of couture costumes, designed by Marion Boyce and Margot Wilson.

First a book, then a movie and now an award-worthy exhibition, The Dressmaker is an experience not to be missed. Immerse yourself in a couture collection of costumes in the majestic rooms and displays at Rippon Lea Mansion.

The exhibition will feature 50 designs and show detail on the craft that goes into making couture garments inspired by the Parisian ateliers. The detail, craftsmanship, fabric choice and design of the costumes are not to be missed, nor is the opulent estate at Rippon Lea.

Currently open at Barwon Park Mansion at Winchelsea until 20 March, the exhibit moves to Rippon Lea for not only a more accessible location but also a stunningly exquisite setting.

The exhibition opens on Friday the 22nd April and runs until 3 July. More details available at The Dressmaker Costume Exhibition website.

I've just recently seen the movie and I'd love to see the outfits up close. They were amazing.
