Visit the FREE Dolly Parton Festival in Narromine and take in the Australian scenery of regional New South Wales on the optional journey to the venue with the Dolly Parton Express.



She is one of the world's most most undeniable musical forces - the dynamic American singer, actor, and philanthropist, Dolly Parton . There are not enough words to describe Dolly. She is a trailblazer and living legend with a multi-award winning film and music career spanning x years. With hit songs like Joelene, I Will Always Love You (also made famous by fellow US songress Whitney Houston) and Islands In the Stream the sing-along duet with Kenny Rogers.

The New South Wales town of Narromine (near Dubbo) will host a one Dolly Parton Festival on 12 October 2024 at the Cale Oval to celebrate all things Dolly. Headlining the event will be Brooke McMullen, with support from Ballz n All, Graham Toole as Kenny Rogers, and Tanya Andrew.

As well as all the Dolly tunes, there will also be Food and markets and the chance to sign up, frock up or watch the entrants in the best-dressed Dolly and Kenny competition. Bring the sparkles and tassels for sure.

Tickets to the Festival are FREE, but are strictly limited and required for entry. Check out the website to book yours. Return bus tickets are available from Trangie ($36) and Dubbo ($36) through 123Tix.



The Railway Adventure
If one day of celebrating the life and music of Dolly is not enough, consider taking the Dolly Parton Railway Adventure Dolly Parton Railway Express On six days from 9 to14 October 2025 you can travel through regional New South Wales from Sydney, Parkes, Cobar, Dubbo, and Wallerawang before arriving at Narromine in time to kick up your heels for the Festival. Along the journey, you can enjoy bush hospitality and live music, pub lunches and dinners, museum and cultural site visits.

What Else
Narromine is a rural community located in New South Wales and is situated 40 kilometres from Dubbo and 451 kilometres from Sydney. The Festival is open from 4 pm to 10 pm.
