Danny and the dinosaur from the popular children's book The Dinosaur That Pooped Christmas by Tom Fletcher, are back for another exciting adventure. This time they journey into space to explore and are enjoying themselves until once again the dinosaur gets hungry. It eats anything it can get its jaws around, unfortunately including their space ship. Danny and the dinosaur are stranded in space and the solution to their problem is as disgusting as it is logical.

The illustrations are cute but what really sold the book for my little ones was the toilet humour. Many kids seem to just love books about poo. Throwing in a dinosaur as well is a bonus.

It's a great book for reading aloud to little ones. I was reading it to my preschooler in the local library and looked up to find my audience had grown to half a dozen kids of a similar age, all apparently enthralled. I highly recommend it for kids aged two and up.

Why? Because kids like poo. And dinosaurs.
Where: All good book shops and libraries.

What's not to like about poo? I mean, it's fascinating! And everybody does it but we're all embarrassed about it, which makes it even MORE fascinating!
