What can I say about Dillion James? I first saw him early in 2011, playing at the Globe Theatre (which has closed, and is sorely missed) for the launch of his debut album 'Tone Baked Goodness'.

Part blues, part reggae, part roots, part funk, Dillion was awarded the 'Blues Performer of the Year' for in 2010 by the Blues Association of South East Queensland. In the middle of 2012, the Dillion James Band released a reggae-flavoured EP 'One Chance to Say it' to a packed crowd on a Sunday-long-weekend afternoon. Their live gigs are a treat, and end up becoming more like a professional jam, than something with a dedicated set-list and structure.

With a solid gigging schedule, you should catch the Dillion James Band around town (or Woodford) soon. You can like them on Facebook here and check out his website here
