On a recent trip to the city, I saw the following advertisement on a tram:



We live in the digital age. Everyone is a photographer. With good quality cameras on smartphones and tablets, which are portable, easy to use and make sharing photos just a click away with our friends and relatives all over the world, taking photos has become easy and cheap. However, that does not mean the era of professional photography is a thing of the past. Professional Photography is a domain on its own.

The Digital Show will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 13 to 15 September, 2013. The line-up of events and public forums is a reminder that indeed, innovation in photographic techniques and varieties is ongoing with newer softwares to give the photographs a creative flare.
