After a late night acquaintance with the bed sheets following New Year's Eve celebrations, the split decision when I awoke this morning to eat breakfast out at was an excellent one indeed.

The Atmosphere
The blended buzz of multiple conversations, the soft tinkling of glasses and cutlery and the occasional laugh or sound of milk being steamed for someone's espresso quickly eases you into the care-free, happy mood that seems to capture you when eating out. This happy hum combined with the clean-cut, modern, yet homey decor and well-groomed wait staff bustling around make for a great atmosphere.

The Service
Efficient, bubbly and professional service is what you will be met with by the wait staff of The Depot. Despite the busy rush of New Year's Day, we were seated immediately in a cozy little corner of the establishment by the open window, gladly receiving the cool breeze and the opportunity to casually observe the relaxed street-goers. Our orders were taken within fifteen minutes with a friendly smile and a quick nod.

The Food
Poached eggs on wholemeal toast with a generous side of succulent avocado and salty bacon? Yes please. A meal of tasty and fresh ingredients plated to perfection and with a contemporary twist, will leave you more than satisfied. Add a latte to the mix and I can assure you'll be back again - no matter how big the bags beneath your eyes.
