If you haven't been to
The Dark Chocolatier or
Fresh From The Noosa Chocolate Factory on Adelaide Street in Brisbane, you are seriously missing out.

The Noosa Chocolate Factory have opened two stores along Adelaide Street, with the first being solely a chocolate shop for those wanting to buy chocolate in small or bulk amounts, and the other being a chocolatey, sweet and simplistic café (I'm a little bit obsessed).
I ventured into the Dark Chocolatier Café out of curiosity, with one side of the store covered in hundreds and hundreds of chocolate pieces, with all sorts of chocolate combinations that one could think of. Dark or milk chocolate with different nuts, fresh fruits, chilli or coffee beans to name a few combinations, and in my opinion better than
Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory.

The staff recommended the Rocky Road and Turkish Delight, being customer favourites. I chose the dark chilli hot chocolate, with the friendly staff letting me try the chilli chocolate first, to make sure I could handle the heat. The hot chocolate was ridiculously good, made on frothy Noosa Chocolate Factory milk with their velvety, rich chocolate. At the end of it there was still chocolate left at the bottom of the cup for me to scoop out, oohh yeah.

The Dark Chocolatier offer great service, friendly staff, with a very clean and sleek look. Most importantly, their products are great. They also sell coffee and tea for those who aren't as obsessed with chocolate, and killer looking brownies (which may change between other chocolatey snacks).
Offering vegan, gluten free and halal chocolate, there is a choice for everyone. The Noosa Chocolate Factory's two store's on Adelaide Street are definitely worth scoping out, so you can bring home a mixed bag or chocolate slab, or pick up a warm, tasty drink before work.

Warning to serious chocoholics: watch out. As soon as I left the store, I was already dreaming of my next hot chocolate to be had at The Dark Chocolatier, so don't say I didn't warn you if you develop a serious addiction to this place!
