The Daily Promise – Book Review

The Daily Promise is based on Domonique Bertolucci's bestselling book 'The Kindness Pact'. It is a collection of inspirational messages which will leave you feeling more positive about yourself and the life you live.

Isn't it time your started treating yourself with the same love, kindness and respect, you give the other important people in your life?

The introduction to this small orange book details Domonique's story about her decision to feel good about herself. She devised a pact which is based on the eight promises. These commitments you make to yourself are explained further in a couple of paragraphs.

The eight Promises are:
  • Accept your imperfections
  • Always do your best
  • Stop comparing yourself
  • Believe in your potential
  • Silence your inner critic
  • Challenge yourself
  • Stop making excuses
  • Love yourself

  • The book continues with a hundred double pages, where the left hand page has a statement and the right hand page has an affirmation and small explanation.

This book is ideal if you were journaling every day or had a regular meditation practice. The aim of the book is to change the way you treat yourself, build your confidence and nurture your self-esteem.

The Daily Promise would make a nice gift for yourself or someone who's depressed or needs a little bit of self-love and acceptance.

The Daily Promise is available in paperback from your favourite bookseller.
