At 22 Red Cape Lane this tiny sugar-filled cafe lives up to its fairytale address. I popped in after walking past it countless other times, finally giving in to the urge to try their perfectly-displayed treats.

Miniature bundles of perfectly-decorated goodness!
The Cupcake Family prides itself on gorgeously decorated designer cakes. The '
Lemony Sunshine' cake is even garnished with a real miniature lemon yo-yo biscuit! They also have miniature and gluten-free options.
The Hazelnut macaron was chewier than I expected but had a delicious nutella-esque choc-hazelnut flavour. Other flavours on offer include chai latte, apple butterscotch and black sesame, as well as the usual array of chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and salted caramel, just to name a few. A single macaron starts at $2.30 and a pack of 6 will set you back $11.50.

Macarons on display at The Cupcake Family
As well as sweet treats The Cupcake Family has a quirky tea menu. Cup of '
Champagne Rose', anyone?! They also offer special-event catering, provided you contact them at least two days in advance.

Interior of the Cafe
Some seating is available both indoors and outside, however this is limited. You may find you're best off indoors as Red Cape Lane is a busy walkway.
