Cavemen & the end of the world, what can be funnier?
Everyone loves a good animated film, and this one is right up there.

Picture from IMDB

The Croods are a family of cavemen, the last in their area of the world. They live their lives in fear, of everything. Anything new, curiosity, the dark pretty much anything you can think of is supposedly deadly. Grug, voiced by Nicholas Cage, is the head of the family and in charge of keeping his wife Ugga, voiced by Catherine Keener, his mother in law, voiced by Cloris Leechman, his son Thunk, voiced by Clark Duke, his older daughter Eep, voiced by Emma Stone and young daughter Sandy, voiced by Randy Thom, all safe.

This is getting harder to do as Eep is wanting more and more to escape from their cave home and explore the world. This is how she meets Guy, another caveman who has always lived out in the open and has fire. Guy tells the Croods that the end of the world is coming and they need to follow him if they want to survive. They go with him initially with the intention to leave him later, but it soon becomes apparent that Guy can look after them better that Grug can.

There are many laughs throughout the film as the Croods are introduced to new hunting methods, swimming and even shoes as they fight to survive each other and the dangers around them to make it to safety. And then there's Belt!

This movie offers something for the whole family, from little kids to big kids. It's highly entertaining a well worth watching.
