The Creators Market will take over the Ballarat Exhibition Centre for one day only; 22 October, 2016, bringing together hundreds of artists, designers, crafters and culinary creators.



The creative gathering showcases the best talent in Victoria and beyond from 11am until 6pm, in what promises to be a fun day out for everyone.

Following its launch in late 2014 in Melbourne, the Creators Market has become a popular event supporting a huge range of Victorian producers with quarterly market events taking place in Prahran.



This family-friendly event offers something for everyone with entertainers, performers, artisans, boutique food producers, food trucks, wine tastings and so much more.



will be more than double the size of the regular quarterly market with nearly 100 stall holders already confirmed.



"As a small business ourselves, we started The Creators Market to assist other small businesses in getting more exposure and marketing their brand," said event director, Megan Luscombe.

"The markets we hold in Prahran are boutique and the venue is only able to accommodate about 35 stall holders at each market. This means the market books out literally just a few hours after we open the applications. Having a venue the size of the Ballarat Exhibition Centre means we can give many more stall holders the opportunity to participate," she added.

"The market has been incredibly successful in Prahran and we're keen to take it to more regional areas where the quality of the products from local makers is simply fantastic."



The introduction of The Creators Market brings an exciting new event to the region, with some of the best quality stall holders coming together under one roof. The market prides itself on curating a quality collection of stall holders, with a limited number of sellers in each category, meaning there are always a huge variety of items on show.

"We have a number of big announcements leading up to the event that will be revealed in the coming weeks," adds Megan.

"We're certain this is going to be a really exciting event for Ballarat and the region and can't wait to host it."

The Creators Market is owned and managed by The Ideas Library, a Melbourne-based boutique event company. Interested stallholders are invited to apply via The Creators Market website. Stalls are nearly at capacity.
