I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.
A great addition to the local Kahibah shops The Cracked Cup provides great coffee in a happy friendly environment. They open at 6am during the week for locals to get their caffeine fix or enjoy a leisurely breakfast. The dining space is small but comfortable and quirky with a variety of seating styles. Takeaway is available for those who are in a hurry or who want to take their children to the park across the road.
The coffee from Glee coffee roasters is mellow and rich and a nice temperature. The blondie was delicious, not too sweet and was well complemented by the coffee. Breakfast dishes such as bacon & eggs with sourdough for $12.50 are available all day and the lunchtime burgers with names like Big Bird and Black Jack all come with a serve of chips. During the evenings they fire up the pizza oven as well.
They offer an innovative online food ordering app that has inbuilt loyalty points which can be used in conjunction with the home delivery and takeaway service. Cards and cash are accepted. They are very family friendly and even have a small outdoor area at the side for alfresco dining.
