A really good cookbook on cooking from scratch

Strawberry Jam
Strawberries, sugar and lemon juice.

Blueberries and Peaches may be used instead.

The difference between jam and jelly is explained.

Raspberry - Chocolate includes raspberries and chocolate chips.

Mayonnaise
Egg, lemon juice, vinegar, mustard, salt, sugar and oil.

Simple Syrup
Sugar and water.

Opinion

We like our toast in the morning for breakfast. Thus, jam!

We like our bread for sandwiches. Thus, mayonnaise.

We like our drinks, especially Southern Sweet Tea. Thus, simple syrup.

The highlighted recipes are my favorites. Useful, frugal and taste good.

I think that this book is good for any beginner chef! A grown-up like myself can learn a bunch also!

I give this book a 5-star rating.
