Fitness trainer, nutrition & health educator and lifestyle coach, Ali Jardine, hosts 'The Colour of Health - Food For Life' workshops at City Farm market fortnightly on Saturdays.

Upcoming workshops in June include 'The Benefits of Turmeric and Lemons' on Saturday 6th June 2015, from 9am to 10am (Free Event) and 'The Colour of Sweetness' on Saturday 20th June 2015, from 9am to 12noon (Paid Event).

This series of workshops is designed to inspire and educate the wider community about immune-boosting foods and in particular, the importance of colour in one's diet.

The teachings are based on Ali's own personal experience of losing 25 kilos and healing her body from arthritis, fibromyalgia and migraines. Her journey to a pain free existence is explored in depth in her book 'The Colour of Health Food for Life'.

With this workshop series, Ali will show you how to prepare both raw and cooked food in fun and interesting ways.

The upcoming workshops will feature interactive demonstrations delicious of medicinal recipes and therapeutic remedies on Saturday 6th June and raw chocolate making, desserts and truffles on Saturday 20th June 2015.

Ali is also presenting a Mediterranean Food Workshop on Sunday 28th June 2015, from 2pm to 5pm ($75pp) in the Whitfords/Hillarys area (more details will be provided when booking). In this interactive worksop, participants will prepare a range of easy to prepare immune boosting foods, including juices, smoothies and dips. There will be an emphasis on garlic, herbs and spices and participants will enjoy the food as part of the workshop. All food and equipment will be provided. Bookings are essential.
