Stressed? Frustrated? Ready to take out your anger on an unsuspecting individual? For a limited time only use stickers to vent your spleen. Be a part of Highpoint Shopping Centre's public art installation.

Arm yourself with three sheets of dot stickers from the colour choices provided at the sticker station. Sticker out to your heart's desire. Inspired by Japanese artist, Yayui Kusama's Brisbane Gallery of Modern Art installation where children used colourful dot stickers to decorate a room painted white. Highpoint's installation is also painted completely white and in desperate need of some colour.

Indulge in your inner child for some sticker therapy. Whether the stage or the wooden letters that make up Highpoint take your fancy, stick a sticker wherever you feel like it. There are no limits except the stickers are only confined to the installation. I glimpsed people of various ages sticking without a care in the world. Some created a sticker tribute to their names. Some just stuck their stickers left, right and centre. Others, such as myself tried to create a picture, however my efforts ended up in the realm of abstraction:

The installation is conveniently placed in the basement stage/all-purpose area of Highpoint Shopping centre. It literally is in the middle of the shopping centre and shoppers are given a bird's eye view of the installation from every level. After creating your sticker mark on the installation, you can travel up to the top floor and see if your creation is still visible.

A fun, spontaneous way to vent your spleen or to just let your inner child out for a bit. Take as long as you need without anyone criticising your work or setting a deadline. A nice distraction from shopping or a chance to just be creative. You never know what comes out of the sticking but viewing all of the stickers together produces a colourful image of joint efforts and teamwork.
