A hospital isn't the first place you'd think of heading to enjoy a casual drink or feed with friends, but that is the idea behind . Located at Clarke Quay , it is hard to miss the wheel chairs, drips, and hospital screens that decorate this alfresco dining area.

You can take a seat on one of the bar stools or hospital bed type booths, and then you'll be able to peruse through the menu of cocktails and snacks. The food is pretty usual, some tasty snacks that make a nice light meal but wouldn't be suitable for dinner. They range from $9-$14 or you can choose the assorted platter for $40. You can choose between Honey Prawn Dumplings, Zesty Golden Fries, Crackling Pork Belly, and other tasty options.

Drinks are the highlight of the clinic, and this is where things really get fun. Enjoy some brightly coloured shots served to you in a row of test tubes, or enjoy a taste of Sex on a Drip. Chances are you've probably never been served alcohol through a drip before. Other drinks include Margarita Sprays, Grapefruit and Basil Mojitos, and Frozen Passion Fruit Flavoured Whisky. The drinks aren't cheap, but they taste good and are lots of fun.

There isn't a real party vibe at the Clinic, it is more a laid back place where you'd head for pre-drinks. It is great for plenty of photo-ops, so make sure you bring your camera along. It might not make it onto you regular nightlife list, but the Clinic is definitely worth a visit.

is part of the larger night life building the Cannery. Check out their website for more options for drinking and partying.
