Sue Broadway and Deb Batton proudly present The Classics, a unique and amazing production by veteran artists ranging from the age of 50 to 95 years of age. These masters will delight you with mimes, amazing clown acts, acrobatics, juggling, dancing and singing.
Sue Broadway was born into a family of performers. Her career spans years of performing, directing and producing both in Australia and internationally. She was a founding member of Circus Oz and cofounder of Ra-Ra Zoo. Her other credits include Artistic Director of Circus Oz, Circus Director for the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games in Sydney and London.
Debra Batton is a director, choreographer and performer of physical theatre, circus and dance. Her credits include Circus Oz as an acrobat and aerialist; Legs on the Wall as a performer and artistic director and director of the National Institute of Circus Arts.
Special Guest stars include Jean-Paul Bell (international mime and master clown) Ric Stevens (amazing acrobat from Spaghetti Circus) and of course Deb Batton and Sue Broadway. Sue will be performing her famous Tea Ceremony. It may be the only chance you get to see someone make a cup of tea from a teacup and saucer balanced on her head.
Local artists Mei Wei Lim, The Gibson Girls, Arlene Cole, Marilyn Filewood, and The Julie Ross Senior Tappers will join with the stars to present this unique and special show that will no doubt mark a fond niche in your memories. There are only two shows so make sure you book early to ensure you don't miss out. Tickets can be booked online or through the box office on Tuesdays and Fridays from 12pm to 4pm.
