just another girl touring around looking for delicious food!

As a person that loves chocolate, how could any chocolate lover miss out on The Chocolate Room? So I visited The Chocolate Room not long ago with one of my favourite chocolate loving buddies.

waffles for one

So we were really, really tempted to order waffles for two but we both knew that although we are pigs, we should leave our stomachs for more dessert. Hahaha. And it was pretty nice. The waffles weren't hard, they were quite soft but a bit crispy, not crispy enough though so it had a bit of that uncooked not that well done taste but it was all right. I loved the strawberries. So yummy. And the chocolate sauce was nice and cute with that heart. The waffles were all right but I would have to say, I wouldn't prefer them. I guess I'm just not really a fan of waffles.

As for the cake, I forgot its name but I remember it had something to do with honeycomb, especially with that honeycomb on top of it. The honeycomb had something similar to melted caramel inside it and that was all right. As for the cake, I absolutely disliked that white part that tasted like hard white icing. The main problem wasn't even the taste, it was just impossible to stab with your spoon/fork all the way down to grab a taste of both layers. So we just ate the bottom half. We are so sorry… The bottom half was like a chocolate mousse so I liked it. Wouldn't get this cake again. But it has been aforementioned by a friend of mine that a certain mud cake tastes extremely good so watch out for that.

The Belgian Hot Chocolate was ordered by my friend and I haven't tried it, so not much to comment there but one of my other friends have said it's good. As for my friend, she said that it's not as chocolatey tasting as the ones at San Churro so she thought it was disappointing. She didn't say it tasted bad though. I guess after the trip to San Churro, we both wanted to drink chocolate. Like literally drinking chocolate, San Churro is just that chocolatey and delicious.

For my Tiramisu Iced Chocolate, I must say, I was rather disappointed as well. I was expecting something really good. I really liked the Hazelnut Iced Chocolate here so I was looking forward to this tiramisu flavour. However, it left me utterly speechless. It tasted like sugar water. It tasted a bit better after getting used to it but it just didn't taste that good. Didn't like it. So our trip this time wasn't as nice and yummy as last time but it was worth it. Although the things I tried may not have been the best, I can guarantee that the Hazelnut Iced Chocolate here is one of the best iced chocolates I've tasted.

And The Chocolate Room is less than 5 minutes away from Town Hall Station. Convenient and it has couches inside making it extremely comfortable. Definitely a place to head down to.
