Just a stone's throw away from Robina Town Centre lies cafe. Here is a cafe with a name that says it all and more.

A minute off the Pacific Highway or off Robina Parkway, is easy to find, on the corner of Arbour Ave and Riverwalk Avenue. Bright yellow chairs set the scene outside to welcome you to this fabulous bright and casual Australian cafe.

is very much a family affair with what started out as a dream becoming a reality. The Chef "Jian" known as "Mom" is here cooking up a storm with good friend Lily, Mom's daughter Lily Ma is a welcoming host (the chef's daughter of course) along with Ryan and together as a team they have created a cafe serving good quality Australian fare with a unique twist and boy have they managed to hit the spot.

is open for breakfast and lunch Tuesday through to Sunday 6.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

The menu at is fresh and inviting with good sized meals and drinks all very reasonably priced. My son and I were lucky to be invited as guests for breakfast and well what can I say…. we loved every minute of it.

I sampled the "Granola Yoghurt Fruit Bowl" (Greek yoghurt, homemade granola, fresh fruit, nuts and honey). The granola was perfect and crunchy and with smooth creamy yoghurt and fresh fruit, the word "yum" comes to mind. I loved that there was a variety of fruit not just a couple of pieces here and there. Presented in a nice big bowl making for a good size breakfast.

The "Good Ol' Fashioned Pancakes" which my teenage son devoured were served with maple syrup and a beautiful array of fresh fruit on top, a nice surprise and way more than delicious.

Avocado lovers will love the "Smashed Avocado", (multi grain toast with feta cheese, avocado and tomato, sprouts and olive oil). I'm a big lover of avocado and this was exceptionally fresh and scrumptious.

And, what about the Dumplings? Yes dumplings! Not something you would usually expect at a cafe but this is what "Mom" here does very well and my goodness who doesn't love dumplings?

Beautiful flavours, they are all exceptional and come in servings of eight handmade dumplings with dipping sauce. Three flavours to choose from: "The Classic" (beef mince, cabbage and shallots); "Daughter's Favourite" (pork mince with cabbage and shallots); and the stand out for me was "Where's the Beef?"(sun dried tomato, spinach, feta cheese). You will have to try these, they are simply the best, an explosion of flavours that go very well together, my favourite. So good in fact, that when I looked away my son had eaten them all!

It's always good to see the same attention too given to the drinks served at any cafe. on completing their research, sourced coffee beans best suited to make the perfect cup of coffee. "ORG" organic coffee beans, provide a rich and toasty blend that displays a caramel sweet aroma, powerful dark chocolate notes and hints of cabernet fruit with a light syrupy finish. "ORG" coffee is grown under strict UTZ processes to ensure that every bean in "ORG" is responsibly grown and fully traceable to the farms where it was sourced ensuring continued sustainability of coffee growing, farming and the environment. And, with an excellent friendly barista means you are guaranteed a good cup of coffee. Tea, hot chocolate and juices are also available.

does takeaways and the whisper is that many offices are now ordering a smorgasbord of sandwiches and dumplings to go.

Sadly I did not get to sample everything on the menu , I have to admit though it all looks so so good and very reasonably priced with breakfast starting from $6.00, dumplings from $10.00 and lunches from $12.00. The big breakfast sounds just that and there are also some great rice dishes and salads to name a few. Cafe has some vegetarian dishes on the menu and also a wide choice of breads including gluten free bread and toast are on offer.

is definitely a place that you will want to come to eat and relax or drop by for a coffee and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Serving all-day breakfast, sandwiches and Mama's handmade dumplings, I'm sure you will be coming back for more.
