Delectable Treats, Perfect for KrisKingle
I popped into The Chef & The Cook and was immediately seduced to explore the amazing array of French and Belgian chocolates that had taken over the front of the store. In Maxim tins and vintage Italian jars, they'd make the perfect gift for visiting friends over the Christmas season.
For the under $10 KrisKingle, they have the Freckleberry Christmas trees and stars. Then it hit me, this shop has the perfect KrisKringle gifts that people would like and use.
Bottles of spicy sauces covering the cuisines of the world, from American barbeque to Jamacian jerk.
Jars of chutneys and jams, evoking exotic destinations, all for well under the $20 mark.
There are colourful sweets and even the most amazing range of sugar cubes.
Best of all, while you're there, you can stock up on wrapping paper and make a choice from an amazing selection of Christmas Crackers - from fully recycled ones to the vintage glamour of the high end 12 Days of Christmas. They even have single crackers so you don't need to buy more than you need!
My favourites were the magic crackers, where the toy inside is a magic trick, figuring they younger kids on the day will be entertained for a while after dinner.
So in the lead up to this festive season, make sure you stock up at this gourmet's delight in Camperdown.
