The modern world is full of chain restaurants with a set theme, trained employees and a menu. They are also multinational corporations with a strategy as well as the budget to reserve effective locations. Regardless of how unhealthy and common as pop culture criticizes, chain restaurants are always abuzz with a crowd of curious eaters and those who come for seconds, thirds and—well, you get the picture.
The Cheesecake Factory's dim golden lights portray a romantic and upscale atmosphere with exotic and rich colorful images as well as classical style engravings that draw crowds into awe, wanting to know if the food is as good as the design.
The service is at its utmost generosity as waiters are delightful and attentive as well as prompt, regardless of the crowds. The food is on time, the complimentary bread and butter starters are always set and it is obvious that the international standards for customer service are carried out to make sure all your needs are met.
Dubai's malls are enormous, glamorous and diversely filled with shops, skiing, aquariums, supermarkets and of course, restaurants. The Cheesecake Factory has chosen the most strategic locations in two of the most talked about malls, the Mall of Emirates (MOE) and the Dubai Mall (DM). In MOE, the restaurant is located near the location where past times are made: Virgin Megastore, Ski Resort, food court, Magic Planet and the cinemas.
The wide open entrance welcomes you with open arms along with the glow of the artificial snow shining through the side windows. There is a cheesecake showcase at the front of the restaurant, a bar in the back, and seating in between.
At DM, The Cheesecake Factory is located near the hotspot of the mall: the aquarium.
The Cheesecake Factory's menu is the biggest menu I've ever seen. Breakfast, appetizers, salads, soup, pasta, steak, dessert; you name it. It's regretful to admit that the other dishes I've had are mediocre or just plain good.
Regardless of the massive array of choices and the average value they give, it's the juicy, messy and greasy food that emerges as the winner here because there is no burger like The Cheesecake Factory burger. After discovering countless burger joints in Dubai and hearing the chatter about Shake Shack, Burger Fuel and The Butcher Shop's burgers, it's safe to say that my opinion is not short sighted.
The Mushroom Burger at The Cheesecake Factory has its buns buttered up and crispy with full and juicy meat that just melts in your mouth. It's accompanied by melted Swiss and Fontina cheese, sautéed mushrooms with onions and mayo. I advise you to come hungry and don't waste your breath on any appetizers because this baby will fill you up with a taste like no other!
No wonder it's called the "Great Glamburger® Challenge Winner!"
As for the cheesecake at The Cheesecake Factory, they might have the most variety of flavors but the taste is average and not worthy enough for its reputation.
