[ADVERT]Centennial Park is a lovely place for a run or cycle on a nice day and also offers plenty of space for a picnic with family and friends. Those who frequent the park may have noticed the pretty cafe that overlooks the green. The cafe serves breakfast and lunch (8-4pm on weekends) and has a children's menu as well. The environment is bright and welcoming, staff are excellent and there is plenty of seating available both indoors and outdoors.
The crowd favorite at the cafe must be the Wagyu beef burger with tomato, beetroot relish and pickled gherkin. Served with hot chips, this burger is definitely a winner. There's a kid's version called the wagyu slider and comes with cheddar cheese, tomato sauce and chips.
Next time you visit Centennial Park make some time for a meal at the cafe whilst enjoying the views of the green. You can also plan lots of activities to enjoy at the park afterwards, including horse-riding, cycling, running, walking, group sports, duck or swan feeding. To top it all off there's free parking!
Why? Great food and gorgeous views of Centennial Park
