Located at 13 Barmoya Road, The Caves, not far from Capricorn Caves, The Caves Lions Bicentennial Park offers a playground, skate park and grass area, as well as a picnic spot with free gas BBQ. With only about 700 population, this town located about 25 minutes drive from Rockhampton, is relatively quiet.

The playground and skate park have solid structure roofs, so it will be nice to play there in any weather condition. It has soft sand as a soft fall completed with a little digger that can be used to dig sand around it. Several climbing frames, flying foxes and slippery dips as well as swings set, also can be found at this playground. The skate park is not that big but enough to show off some tricks with different kinds of ramps and rails.

There is an amenity block in the complex, enough parking spots, and some picnic tables. The undercover picnic areas with BBQ were under renovation when we were there.
