Based on a true story, The Case For Christ presents an avowed atheist's journey in debunking the existence of God and Christianity.

Lee Strobel was a top investigative journalist at the Chicago Tribune. He earned his Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri and Masters of Studies in Law from the Yale Law School. His journalistic and legal skills were extremely well-developed. His award-winning reporting had promoted him to be legal editor.

However his marriage was not doing so well. Through the lives of others and the circumstances of her own life, his wife Leslie came to believe in the Christian faith. This totally went against Lee's stand as a self-proclaimed atheist.

So, in order to save his marriage, Lee embarked on a quest to disprove the claims of the Christian faith. He investigated the claims the best way he knew and that was by applying his journalistic and legal skills. He used a systematic argumentative discourse to logically reason out the claims. The results were life-changing.

The Case For Christ is directed by Jon Gunn. It stars Mike Vogel, Erika Christensen, Faye Dunaway and Robert Forster. Its runtime is 112 minutes.

It was released in USA on 7 April 2017. It will be showing in Australian cinemas from 4 May 2017. In Adelaide, you can see it at either #cinemas =54,87,22">Event Marion or Hoyts Tea Tree Plaza .

I had the privilege of attending its advance screening in Marion recently. I would rate it an eight out of ten.
