The CARE Community Festival is coming to the enchanting Northey Street City Farm on Saturday 20th October, 2012. Now in its second year, this fledgling festival has heart and soul and supports a worthy cause.

Simply by attending this family friendly festival, one can support our local community in a truly meaningful way; funds raised go to the Student Care Welfare Qld Inc which works tirelessly to assist the disadvantaged youth of South East Qld. Close to a staggering 5000 children are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Brisbane, and together as a community we can assist the team at Student Care Welfare Qld Inc in keeping these kids off the streets; and all we have to do is attend a rockin' family festival.

From 2.00pm the fabulous farm at Northey St will be brimming with activity and entertainment - numerous live musical acts, performances from Flipside Circus, a red hot fireshow, kid's activities, market and food stalls, and an art gallery. Live entertainment acts include A French Butler Called Smith, Luna Junction, Fat Picnic, Celtic Fusion and The Lady Abundance Project, with more to be announced.
