The Campaign - will this film win you over?
The Campaign is the story of congressman Cam Brady (Will Ferrell) who's a cert for another term of office from his North Carolina district (given that he's the only person running) until he's caught out being dodgy.

Enter Marty Huggins (Zach Galifianakis).

The Campaign
The Campaign stars Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis

He's the director of the local tourism centre and the clueless candidate who's pitched against Brady.

He wears the ugliest jumpers, talks like a wimp and has no idea why people suddenly should listen to him.

Of course there's a sinister plot behind it all and it's actually a couple of dodgy business men who want to groom him for the top spot for their own dodgy ambitions.

The campaign for office between Brady and Huggins becomes a dirty fight offering lots of ultra-cheap, below the belt laughs.

There's no point seeing this movie if you haven't enjoyed Will Ferrell's movies from the past (Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers and Old School) because The Campaign doesn't stray far from the comedic style of those.

Will Ferrell lovers will probably give this four stars. I think he's okay and I gave it three.

ps, Look out for Aussie hunk Josh Lawson in a minor role!
