Radiating that beautiful, tranquil, Byron Bay existence and maybe therefore, aura - I can't help but wonder what it is that charms us the most about Pete Murray: from his easy style of pared back, no-fuss jeans and a t-shirt - to the laid-back, casual, unassuming demeanour. The most appealing draw-card however, I believe, lies in this musician's emotional intelligence and the welcoming voice / instrumental finesse - which communicates this, so precisely, so superbly.
Pete Murray - the one who spoilt us in the past with songs such as 'Better Days', 'So Beautiful', 'Free', 'Opportunity'... - and now gifts us with his latest album: Camacho (which includes the 'coasting' / very catching single 'Take Me Down'). The Artist, who, as soon as he starts to sing leaves you hoping that he just won't stop again. And fortunately for us, I'm hopeful that, that is exactly what will happen at: The Cambridge Hotel on the 27th July.
So 'Take us Down' to wherever Pete Murray is playing.. any day of the week ... (on this occasion it will be a Thursday) because our days really are better with the music of Pete Murray in them. For tickets, please click: www.thecambridgehotel.com.au/pete-murray.
