First things first - hats off, thumbs up and a big thank you to the very lovely and friendly Rob and Chris, who proudly own and run this wonderful business. It was two years in the making and has finally been achieved after a lot of hard work and toing and froing. Butler now have a fantastic, cheap, fun activity and it's all thanks to Rob and Chris and their vision.

The Butler Pedal Boat Co opened for business in September 2016 and are based in Brampton Park, Kingsbridge Boulevard, Butler and yes, they hire out pedal boats!



My children couldn't wait to have a go with their two friends and the excitement had grown in the 45-minute journey to get there. Each boat takes a maximum of 4 persons and children under 10 years need to be accompanied by an adult or suitable person. My 13-year-old daughter was a 'suitable person' and as soon as Rob helped them into the boat, they were off on their adventure.

They encountered huge koi carp fish and ducks and had a race with another boat, which they all found hugely entertaining.

The pedal boats are an awesome addition to the park, which already had good amenities. There are 2 playgrounds, one quite small, but both perfectly adequate. There are also 2 BBQ stations which looked very clean and well looked after. There is a pathway around the lake which makes for easy pram pushing and scooter/bike riding. It's dog-friendly too, so a day out the whole family can enjoy. Lunch, afternoon tea and coffee hits are catered for as Dome is located at the top end of the park.



Rob and Chris are open for business 7 days a week during school holidays and every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday at other times during the Autumn and Winter months. Opening days/hours are weather permitting (they cannot operate in windy conditions and who wants to go boating in the rain?). Opening hours are 9.30am - 4.30pm. They will close after the July school holidays for the rest of the winter and will re-open in September. Opening hours will change for the Spring and Summer months. Get your children out in the fresh air and get them exercising whilst having fun! Ladies, burn some calories whilst catching up with friends, it's so affordable you can do this regularly!

It's just $15.00 for 20 minutes (and that is for four people) It's a steal.
