The Burwood is my local. Nice to go down for a drink and I admit for a pub the food is pretty good too.
Went down on a Sunday night just for a quick meal. I ordered the pork belly which I knew was going to be good (I've had it before) and it didn't disappoint. It had confit with parsnips, a sweet red cabbage, puree (can't remember what flavour, but it tasted good) and chat potatoes. The pork was tender, had a slight pleasant crunch on the skin with the puree and cabbage, adding the needed sweetness. Pretty good dish, although I remember it being slightly better last time.
My partner went for scotch on the bone. That was delish. The meat was cooked perfectly and the cafe paris butter was tasty. Overall experience, pretty good! We went there again a couple of nights ago and if the chicken terrine is on the menu, I advise you get it.
