Adelaide Oval is not only an iconic sporting landmark, it is also home to the Bradman Collection. Sir Donald Bradman was without a doubt Australia's most talented, admired, celebrated and loved cricketer this country has ever produced.
Bradman was born in 1908, in the town of Bowral, New South Wales. He grew up during the depression and would practice his batting skills by hitting an old golf ball up against a wall in his yard repeatedly. These skills eventually earned him a place in the Australian team and he represented the country for 20 years. The Bradman Collection includes interactive displays that guide you through his life, career and events.
