Celebrating its 20th season, The Production Company is presenting The Boy From Oz, which is also turning 20 in 2018. It will be performed for a limited season of 11 shows at Arts Centre Melbourne.

The Boy from Oz is based on the life of singer/songwriter Peter Allen and features songs written by him.

Rohan Browne is starring in the lead role of Peter Allen and Caroline O'Connor returns to Australia to perform as Judy Garland.

Other members of the cast include Loren Hunter, Matthew Manahan, Robyn Arthur, Francis Greenslade, Baylie Carson, Josie Lane, Phoenix Mendoza, David James, Belinda Hanne Reid and Nathan Pinnell. The role of the young Peter Woolnough will be shared by Hudson Sharp and Lenny Thomas.

Luke Alleva, Amy Berrisford, Nadia Coote, Zoe Coppinger, Kiana Daniele, Jan Di Pietro, Joe Donovan, Matt Douglass, Alex Given, Melanie Hawkins, Joe Meldrum, Priscilla Stavrou, Jordan Turner, Jessica Vellucci and Celina Yuen will perform in the ensemble.

Musical numbers includes many of Peter Allen's best loved hits from Quiet Please, There's A Lady On Stage, Not The Boy Next Door, Everything Old Is New Again, I Honestly Love You, I Still Call Australia Home, Tenterfield Saddler and I Go to Rio.
