Brisbane's best Barefoot bowling venue in Newstead
Some of my favourite parties I've been to have been at Bowls Clubs across Brisbane. Thinking back, I've been to heaps of fantastic greens but The Boo Bowls Club is probably the stand out favourite as it is the only 100% social club in Brisbane. Otherwise known as The Booroodabin Bowls Club, the name was shortened and the grounds given a female persona by those that run the grounds. She is known to hold many functions, social bowling days and newly instigated Recovery Sundays for tired weekend revelers.

With over 125 years under her belt, The Boo has hosted many functions and parties and is the perfect spot to bring a group of mates or your staff for a celebration. The a la carte menu is generous and tasty with classic Boo Fish and Chips being the usual order for my friends.
If you opt for a platter for your mates, the B.F.C. (Boo Fried Chicken) is my favourite item on the menu. You can also book BBQ and bowls for larger groups which gives you delicious steaks off the grill with all the salads and breads to go along with it.
I'm considering becoming a member for just $20 for two years and it affords you 10% off food and drinks. If you're heading along there regularly it's well worth the money. It's also a great way to keep this historic Bowls Club alive.
