Don't miss the fun rides and attractions at the annual Blacktown City Show, which will be held on 8-9 March 2014 at the Blacktown Showgrounds.

features exhibitions from the Rampt Mini FMX, live reptile display, Wildlife Performance Troop and free-flight birds like eagles and owls, Professor Wallace's Puppet Theatre (one of the oldest continuous performing acts in Australia), an antique machinery display, sheep shearing demonstrations, performances from the City of Blacktown Pipe Band, the fourth-generation Australian blacksmith Ray Lincoln, an animal farm nursery, woodchopping exhibitions as a sport, the very popular Bill Bell's Magic Circus, and the voice of Carol Heuchan at the microphone.


There are also competitions such as preserves, jams, jellies and conserves, textile and design, art, craft, amateur photography, cooking, cakes, icing and decorating, needlework, caged bird, poultry, and pigeon racing, Blacktown City Showgirl, Blacktown City Show Talent Search, horticulture, ute master, and the annual Blacktown City Show Horse.

The 9.00pm fireworks on Saturday 8 March 2014 is something you shouldn't miss, and if last year will be the basis, it will be a night of spectacular fireworks.


Entry fee for adults is $10, children and pensioners $5, and families $25 (two adults, two children). Children below five years old enter free, and car parking is just $3. There is no better, and cheaper way, to spend a fun weekend than the Blacktown City Show this weekend.
