The Black Box Experiment is currently in the development and testing phase, with a series of social experiments being premiered to live audiences at 7pm, Wednesday nights, on a weekly basis at Rhino Room (Adelaide's home of stand-up comedy) throughout the months of May-November 2019. Each month, a different Adelaide creative will develop and test their concept for a TV show, with the final episode being filmed and featured in The Black Box Experiment's series of pilots which will be aired online and on Adelaide community television Channel 44. Kat Jensen's Eggplant & Peach & #127814 ; & & #127825 ; is the first production in this series.

Adelaide-based creative Kat Jensen has an extensive background in radio and television and plenty of recent experience in digital dating. Her concept is for Eggplant & Peach & #127814 ; & & #127825 ; to be produced in the format of a live chat show, exploring the ins-and-outs of digital dating.

We attended the second episode of Kat Jensen's Eggplant & Peach & #127814 ; & & #127825 ; on Wednesday night, 8 May 2019. Titled That's Not What I Expected..., Kat hosted a panel consisting of Adelaide-based comedians Zachery Watson, Frehd Southern-Starr and Nicholas Huntley who were each introduced with their Tinder profiles. This episode ran for one hour (7pm-8pm) and provided plenty of laughs and audience interaction (complete with audience voting with flashcards featuring & #127814 ; (for 'yes' votes) and & #127825 ; (for 'no' votes), antecdotes, role play and Kat's well researched, intriguing and somewhat astounding statistics and findings (if you're on Tinder, check out the Tinder profile for Kat Fischer, located in Adelaide - hint/spoiler alert: it's part of this particular social experiment). We enjoyed Kat's concept/program so much, we are making plans to attend the final episode on Wednesday, 29 May 2019 which will include pilot filming by Jason Chong (The Black Box Experiment's founder and Director of 1UP Digital).

Cost of tickets for each show is a very reasonable $8.50pp (including booking fee) - click here, to secure your tickets for upcoming episodes of Kat Jensen's Eggplant & Peach & #127814 ;&& #127825 ; via The Black Box Experiment's TryBooking event page.
