Circus for adults
Step into an alternate world at Big Top Tease, the flirtatious fusion of burlesque and circus that's set to take over Langley Park on January 30 and 31, 2015.

Aimed squarely at the 18 and over market, Big Top Tease is circus for adults presented by Sugar Blue Burlesque and Circus Joseph Ashton.

This year MC Famous Sharron will lure audiences inside the tent where carnies and burlesque dancers will strut their stuff, with acts ranging from eye-popping to jaw-dropping. Be prepared for a visual feast as the talented line-up takes a journey into the worlds of burlesque, jazz, cabaret, speakeasy and sideshow.

The headline act is UK-based Aurora Galore, a fire and burlesque performer, whose act is simply stunning. Check out a video here.

For those who've been to the Perth International Burlesque Festival or the Miss Burlesque WA finals, some of the burlesque acts will be familiar. Dolores Daiquiri, the Melbourne-based Australian Burlesque Festival director, performed classic burlesque at the festival in 2013, while Ruby Slippers, Virtue Von Tassel and Coco Poppin, A'dora Derriere, Cecile Mimieux and Ruby DeLure are well-known on Perth's burlesque scene. This year's Miss Burlesque WA Lucy Lovegun and newly crowned Mr Burlesque Australia Charlie D.Barkle will also join in the fun.

From classic burlesque and a giant double champagne glass act to comedy, the adults-only aspect of Big Top Tease is guaranteed to knock your socks off. The fun doesn't stop there, for the performers want to take your breath away, too. Circus performers will take to the Wheel of Death, the flying trapeze and more, showcasing their incredible acrobatic prowess, keeping audiences on the edge of their seats.

Tickets cost $35 (plus booking fee) pre-sale or $45 at the door. Buy them here.

Doors open 7.30pm.

Langley Park is on Riverside Drive, Perth.
