I am always looking out for new experiences, wherever I may find myself.
Big Brother came back onto our screens last year with a more family-friendly format, courtesy of Channel Nine, and soon it will return again. The question is, will you be sitting on the lounge when that happens? Or will you be experienced it all from the inside?
If you're interested in spending months locked inside a house with strangers, ready to be judged or loved by millions, you need to get yourself to one of the stops on Big Brother's 2013 Housemate Hunt.
They will be taking place throughout April in the following cities:
Perth: Thursday April 4, at Crown Perth, between 11.00am and 7.00pm. Melbourne: Saturday April 6 and Sunday April 7, at Rydges Bell City Preston, from 8.00am to 4.00pm each day. Adelaide: Thursday April 11, at the Adelaide Showground Ridley Centre, from 11.00am to 7.00pm. Sydney: Saturday April 13 and Sunday April 14, at the Australian Technology Park (Bay 4), between 8.00am and 4.00pm. Newcastle: Tuesday April 16, at Newcastle Panthers, from 11.00am to 7.00pm. Brisbane: Saturday April 20, at Pullman Brisbane King George Square, from 8.00am to 4.00pm. Gold Coast: Sunday April 21, Jupiters Hotel and Casino, from 8.00am to 4.00pm.
You can show up at any point during the open hours at each audition and Big Brother has thoughtfully put together a package that explains how to best to get to each location, which can be found here.
You will need to fill out a registration form online before you attend the Housemate Hunt, then print it out and bring it along with you on the day (you can fill it out there, but the process will take much longer) .
If you want to cut down on your waiting time even more, you can potentially fast-track your audition by submitting a video as part of a challenge Big Brother has set up. All you need to do is create a video in your own Diary Room (be it your bedroom, lounge, kitchen, garden or wherever else you choose) that begins with the words "Hello Big Brother." Not everyone who creates a video will be fast-tracked, but the producers will select a lucky few to skip the lines and head straight into the face to face audition (so you still need to attend on the day).

The consensus seems to be: be yourself and don't have an agenda.
