For the third year in a row Country Cob Bakery
has won the inaugural competition for the best Pie in Australia.
Whilst for many, a pie is simply something you have when you go to the football or for a snack on the road; for the Australian Baking Association, it is far more serious business, where they test and research from all over Australia to find the best pie and pastie and for the third win in a row Country Cob Bakery
in Kyneton came out the winner.
Over the past three years, they have won awards for their caramelised pork and pepper pie, the Australian classic meat pie and in 2023 a fabulous fish amok pie, a unique Cambodian-style creation of barramundi and curry sauce.
Selected after a full three days of competition, with over 340 bakeries across Australia, representing more than 1500 products competing. They should be rightfully proud of the above-winning pie.
