There are so many amazing things to see and do in Byron Bay that all you really need to think about when going there is where you are going to stay. The best accommodation I have stayed in at Byron goes to the Bay Motel. A 4 star rating Motel that has the best beachfront location you could ask for.

Facade view of Bay Motel
Bay Motel ticks all the boxes as an amazing place to stay. You will find it at 12 Bay Street, Byron Bay across the road from Main Beach. Talk about amazing views.

Main beach only a short walk from the Motel
It's on the same street as the local pub known as
The Beach Hotel that always has an amazing relaxed vibe with people of all ages to have a bite to eat, drink and listen to the fantastic live music. The pub isn't the only thing close to Bay Motel, for a variety of dining options and bars under a 10 minute walk all you have to do is load up Google Maps and start walking to your desired location. Being so close to everything there really is no need for a car if all you're looking to do is explore Byron, but if your mind is set on exploring some of the coastal towns nearby you can feel safe with free secure parking at the motel for all guests.

Our bedroom - sorry it's a bit fuzzy, was in a hurry to get out the door!
If you want to see all of Byron though I can propose to take a 7 minute walk to the nearby 'Wreck' Beach, a popular surfing spot amongst locals. You can even hire out body boards from the Bay Motel and try out the waves for yourself. Or a must in Byron is to take the heavenly walk up through coastal bushland to the lighthouse to enjoy the 360 degree views of the ocean, the town of Byron and the beaches.
The rooms at Bay Motel are fully furnished, refurbished, perfect size and always kept clean by the lovely management team. I wasn't really planning on staying indoors on my stay, but the facilities offered of Free Wi-Fi, Air-Con and Foxtel on the big TV makes it very inviting to have a lazy day in your room.

Another perspective of the rooms at Bay Motel
The Motel has been awarded a 4 star rating but I can honestly give it a full 5 stars. The Motel retains a 'beachy' and laidback theme but is still fully equipped with all the modern luxuries to make it a fantastic spot to relax and have a holiday. In my opinion, there is no fault I can find with Bay Motel and I know I'll definitely be booking with them again for my next Northern NSW adventure.
As cost goes, you can see their
