Once an old fashioned general store the Belle General was transformed in 2013 to a casual quaint cafe/takeaway/general store. Located near Shelly Beach it is a delightful spot to relax whilst enjoying great quality coffee, cakes and more. Sarah, Kyla and Jacque (the three belles) pride themselves on providing healthy food options and offer plenty of low sugar, gluten-free, paleo and vegetarian items.



The coffee was hot and strong but not bitter and was complemented by a small bite of gluten-free deliciousness. Other drinks include home blended chains, great smoothies and a wide range of 'milks' is offered. The menu is full of great tasting, healthy food served with a smile. The outside seating is very popular for families catching up after walking their dogs and the casual ambiance is very welcoming.



Their food philosophy is centred around fresh, locally sourced ingredients and much of the food, especially the cakes and condiments, is created in house. In order to take advantage of the beachside location all of the menu is available as takeaway.

As well as great healthy food the Belle General stocks jewellery, food, artwork and homewares in the store .
