The Bélier Family
Growing up in a hearing impaired family, Paula (Louane Emera) becomes the indispensable interpreter for her parents and younger brother and is the all rounder in the running of the family dairy farm. In a choir to be closer to a handsome new boy, her musical talent is discovered. This in turn poses new and challenging decisions that need to be made.
This word of mouth phenomenon across Europe and France's most popular film of 2015,
The Bélier Family is a feel-great success. Young actor Louane Emera is a genuine revelation who lends both sincerity and joy to this deeply moving film that builds to a heart-soaring and emotional finale.
