Live from the Gold Coast's Home of the Arts on Saturday March 13, 2021 at 7pm is The Beatles versus The Rolling Stones, representing The Beatles is The Good Band and representing The Rolling Stones is The Honey Sliders. The event/concert is two hours and thirty minutes in duration. This concert celebrates and embraces the rivalry between the two British legends of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, showcased by prodigious local talent.
Considered a bit of a supergroup, The Good Band is a Gold Coast act. Front man Hayden Andrews is the lead singer singer-songwriter for Cheap Fakes supergroup and has been involved in the Pulp Fiction and Dirty Dancing shows. The Good Band also has Geoff Green on drums, young guitar master, Harry J Hart, keyboard master Liam Kirk, the Cheap Fake's Reginald Leahyr and Scotty Bignell on trumpet and keyboards.
With a thirst for playing tracks from 1965-74, this is the new 70's inspired blues / boogie project for three time ARIA Award nominated singer song writer Danny Widdicombe. The Honey Sliders have been on stage every year since 2013. In demand and received to critical acclaim, The Honey Sliders sell out frequently with renditions of blues, country, rock n roll and soul masterpieces. Each member has been around the world with a wealth of experience in terms of the time live on stage. Food and drink will also be on sale during the ticket purchasing process (online).
