The Beach House on O'Malley Street in Osborne Park has been revamped. New management has taken over and brought with them a whole new range of fun things for kids to do. You need to bring your kids here and check out the innovative offerings.

As you walk into the play centre you get a sense of space as there are many different areas that the children can play in and explore.

The main play structure is amazing. It has everything a kid could want to do. There are slides, nets, tunnels, steps, ball pits and more. Everything is padded for the safety of the children.

The car race track is suitable for 4 – 7 year olds and allows kids to choose from a range of ride ons and race their friends around the small circular track.

Kids under five can play in the junior playground. It is fully fenced and has a huge range of equipment. There is a bouncy castle, pushing toys, padded stacking blocks, slides, trikes and even cubby houses. Parents are more than welcome to come into this area to assist their child.

There are four themed party rooms which are very popular, especially on the weekends. Kids have a choice of Underwater World, Treasure Island, Space and the Disco Room. Each room can hold up to 35 kids, with the Disco Room able to fit up to 50 kids. Party packages start at $16 for weekday parties and $22 for weekend parties.

The Beach House has a number of new attractions:

The Beach

Yes, the owners have installed a beach, minus the water of course. It is a huge sandpit where the kids can get the beach feel while playing. In this area there are swings, a multi-level play structure with balls, slides and padded climbing areas and more. To the side of this is a sandpit with 3 – 4 metal climbing structures and plenty of sand toys.

0 – 3 Play Area

As you head down towards the clean and well maintained toilets at the back of the play centre, you will find a dedicated area for the 0 – 3 year olds. With a carpet base, babies and toddlers are able to crawl, walk and jump around in full view of their parents who are welcome to take a seat within this play area. Here, there are mini chairs, drawers full of toys, tunnels, cubbies, a range of sturdy climbing toys and a ball pit.

Troppo Zone

The revamped Troppo Zone caters for 6 – 14 year olds and is play centre heaven for the older kids.

In their own private area, the kids have access to two TVs on which they can play Wii, beanbags, couches, a gazebo, a large range of arcade games (which are all free to use), a bouncy castle, padded rolling balls and an indoor flying fox.

Manned by a staff member to help harness the kids in, children take turns having a ride on the flying fox. Being a flat line, this flying fox works on kid power and requires another child to pull the flyer along. It looks like awesome fun with the kids enjoying multiple rides each.

In this area there is also equipment for an indoor basketball, soccer and badminton game.

Café

The upgraded café is amazing and has a large range of food and drink on offer. There is also a supply of emergency items for sale such as; jars of baby food, nappy bags, drink bottles and even baby wipes.

This play centre is huge and can cater for kids of all ages. You only have to pay one very reasonably priced entry fee and all the activities inside are free. Grab your kids and their socks and head down to the newly refurbished Beach House.
