The Batman Superman Movie

The Batman Superman Movie, (also known as The Batman Superman Movie: World's Finest), is a fully animated, feature length film, which sees the teaming up of two of the most well known DC comics characters and tells the story of the time that the Joker and his right hand lady, Harley Quinn, travelled to Metropolis, to join forces with Lex Luthor and his henchmen, in order to destroy both Superman and Batman in one foul swoop.

This film was originally three separate episodes, which first aired in the second season of the animated Superman show and were later put together, back to back, to make one feature length movie, which works out very well indeed.

With a star studded cast of voices actors including Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Tim Daly as Clark Kent/Superman, Dana Delany as Louis Lane, Clancy Brown as Lex Luthor and the immensely talented Mark Hamill as The Joker, this is one film that should not be missed for all DC comics fans!

The Batman Superman Movie has been rated PG for low-level violence and has some scenes, though few and far between, which may be a little bit frightening to some younger children, there is also some "adult humour" which will fly right over the kids heads. This film was originally released on VHS and DVD in 1999.
