The Basement is the landmark live music venue and the spiritual home of Sydney's jazz scene.

Australia'sperformers such as iconic jazz musician James Morrison and ensembles the Galapagos Duck often perform at the venue along with headline international acts including USA jazz legend Warren Vache.

Tribute acts rock out at The Basement such as Whole Lotta Love' Led Zeppelin Encomium "the best live gig I've ever seen." See them performing here.

An enormous variety of music is showcased at the event including African American Gospel acappella choirs Jonah & The Wailers plus The Elementals directed by film composer Ian Laurence.

There are options to have dinner plus show tickets which include entry plus a two course meal. This is advisable so you're guaranteed a seat for the whole performance.
