Featuring the Austin Powers Theme Song

Mighty Good Entertainment hosted 'The Band of South Australian Police' on August 19th at The Star Theatre. The theatre held a large audience of over 50's who travelled from Prospect, West Thebarton and Grange to see the band perform. Guests organised with their local council to get picked up and taken to the event and got discounted tickets.

The band that plays in many different ensembles played at the Star Theatre in a small ensemble of 13 people. Guests clapped along to classic hits including the famous Tom Jones hit What's New Pussycat, Frank Sinarta's My Way and Frankie Vally's Too Good to Be True. The performance featured swing music, current movie themes including The Austin Powers theme song Soul Bossa Nova and Broadway themes.

Some guests enjoyed the show so much they bought Compact discs of the band to take home. The music compact discs featuring many different ensembles are available online for $10.

If you missed their concert at The Star Theatre you can see them live at The Royal Adelaide Show daily from September 5th-14th, free with your entry ticket.
