Taste buds will be tempted, and the sense invigorated by the beautiful avon valley in winter-time. Held at the brand new state of the art Northam Recreation Centre just a 100 km drive East of Perth. Northam is the state's largest inland town, the heart of the Avon Valley and a commercial centre and gateway to the wheat belt. Northam's history stretches back to 1836 when it began as a small agricultural village.
Visitors can experience flavours from the Avon Valley and all over the world with gourmet foods including chilli, cheese, chocolate, olive oil products, nuts, preserves,yabbies, wine and beer tastings. Outside there will be kid's rides, a cuddly animal farm, clydsdale horse rides and market stalls.
There will be a licensed bar, live entertainment and a chill out area. Cooking demonstrations will be on daily with Don Hancey. Australian Iron Chef Winner Herb Faust is back by popular demand. Partnering with Barton Jones Wines Herb they will create a truly unique dining experience at the Festival Long table Degustation 5 course Dinner Sat 1st June.
