A unique conversation with war artists
Linden New Art is presenting The Art of War, a unique conversation with artists Matthew Sleeth, Wendy Sharpe and Tanja Johnston from the Australian National Veterans' Art Museum (ANVAM) as they discuss the intersection of art and war. War artists preserve moments in Australia's political history but rarely speak about these moments.

The Art of War provides an opportunity to peek 'behind the scenes' to find out how the lived experiences of these artists informed the artworks they produced. Hear what these artists learned as bystanders in conflict countries and how they felt to confront the political and cultural realities not seen in the media.
