Frock up and gather your friends for race day! will be back on the track with the carnival kicking off on Wednesday, April 26th and runs through to the main event on Sunday, 30 April 2023, starting at 12 noon. Race is a 1300 metre race run under a set weight for age handicap, that will be held at Callaghan Park, Reaney Street, Rockhampton.

There will be plenty of extra events to make even become the most anticipated event of the year (go to this site for complete carnival events).
1. GDL Rural Cocktail Night will be on Saturday 29th April 2023 at 6.30 pm, located at Headrick's Lane, 189 East Street, Rockhampton. Booking here for the opportunity to rub shoulders with racing royalty Gai Waterhouse and other industry celebrities whilst helping raise money for Cure Cancer QLD.

2. Great Northern Brewing Co. Sports Luncheon & Calcutta on Friday 28th April 2023 starting at 11.30 am, located at Rockhampton Leagues Club. Get your ticket here , for the most highlighted Rocky Amateurs Archer event with the room is always packed with racing icons.



3. Racewear competition on D day
All eyes will be on the most stylish on the field with racewear competition in categories such as Classic 35, Contemporary under 35, Millinery and Gents. For all fashion enquiries, please contact Shannyn Hopkins at email address [email protected]
